Verona School Board Needs to Fill Open Seat

Verona Board of Education member Dawn DuBois has resigned, the Verona-Cedar Grove Times reported. DuBois told the board she is no longer able to contribute the time needed to serve on the board due to her career.

DuBois served two years of a three year term and the school board is seeking candidates to fill the remainder of her term.

Residents of Verona interested in filling this seat, should email a resume or list of relevant experiences along with a letter of interest to Cheryl Nardino, Board Secretary, at cnardino@veronaschools.org. The deadline for submission is Monday, October 7.

The Board will announce those who wish to be considered for the seat at the Tuesday, October 8 school board meeting.

As part of the selection process, the board will conduct a public interview session to be scheduled in October.
