  Is CG PD taking actions to prevent these kinds of events from happening? Is all of this crime new or did it happen last winter also? Did any other towns get involved to stop these thieves? What can the town do to prevent future instances?

  the police should try to set them up by leaving an officer laying down in the back of the car or have an unmarked car nearby the running car!
