Maryanne Christiano-Mistretta is an award-winning writer whose work has appeared in The Millburn/Short Hills Alternative Press, The Westfield Alternative Press, The Paterson Press, Suburban Essex, The Patch, The Montclair Times, The Jersey City Independent, The Aquarian Arts Weekly (which was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, April 2012), The West Sider, The Chelsea Clinton News, music.com, Tattoo Review, Punk Magazine and Exit, to name a few. She's also the former editor of NJ Health & Fitness magazine.

She is the proprietor of Pear Tree Enterprises (www.peartreeenterprises.com),  her home-based business, editing books and representing artists and musicians.

She edited and wrote the forward to "Vicious Dogs Attack Me in Sleepless Nights of Summer" by actor Scott Schiaffo, best known for his role as the Chewlies man in the Kevin Smith movie "Clerks."

She also writes regularly for The Paterson Press online.

Mary Anne is also a model for award-winning photographer Darlene Foster (www.darlenefoster.com).

She lives in Union County with her husband, Dennis, and their two kitties, Billy and Derick.
