Mary Torrey, Neighbor

I am the director of the Verona Public Library. I began my position on October 1, 2012 filling the vacancy left by the retirement of long-time director Jim Thomas. Mr. Thomas has been Verona's library director for 32 years and has left his unique imprint on this wonderful Verona institution. I have "big shoes to fill" and I'm ready to provide Verona library patrons with the programs, materials and services that they've come to expect. I'd like to invite all Verona citizens to please stop by the library, say hello, sign up for a library card if you don't have one, join the Friends of the Library, use our wireless internet or our internet computers, check out a book, a dvd, an audio book and see all the great things we have to offer.
