Yankee pitcher hosts youth camp at Verona High School this morning.
Yankee pitcher CC Sabathia will bring his youth baseball camp to Verona High School today from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for workshops focusing on baseball instruction, skills and strategies. Registration for the camp, which cost $99, closed July 26. The camp will feature Sabathia talking to small groups of children and encouraging them on the finer points of the game. Top prep and collegiate coaches from the New York area will join the pitcher for the camp. Each attendee will receive an autographed camp team photo with the pitcher, an exclusive Jordan Brand camp T-shirt, a goodie bag with free merchandise and the change to win additional prizes.
