Verona Residents Celebrated for Achievements

Verona residents were recognized for their recent accomplishments.

Verona and Cedar Grove are both full of accomplished people, as well as celebrities like NFL star Anthony Fasano and comedian and actor Jay Mohr, both of Verona and Chef Amanda Freitag of Cedar Grove. Local residents are never short of achievements. Claire Lawrence of Verona Claire Lawrence of Verona, was recently initiated into Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Lawrence is pursuing a degree in Physical Education at Salisbury University. Cedar Grove Student Inducted into Collegiate Honor Society

Christopher Farra, an undergrad student at Fordham University, was inducted into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Cedar Grove resident Christopher Farra was recently inducted into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, a selective national collegiate honor society. Farra, who is pursuing a degree in Finance at Fordham University, was nominated into the honor society for his high academic achievements.  “Everything I did was based on academic achievement," said Farra. "The reason I wanted to join is that is has a reputable history and I worked very hard the last few years to get the grades I've gotten." Farra moved to Cedar Grove in 2009 after graduating from Morristown-Beard School in Morristown. "I feel I have succeeded the past four years," he said.
