Tonight is Family Night in Verona
Verona Municipal Alliance Committee marks semi-annual "Family Night."
Tonight, don't be surprised if the athletic fields are empty of practicing teams, or if you notice fewer cars than usual parked outside the civic center. All meetings and school athletics have been put off for the night to give families some uninterrupted quality time to spend together. Students even get a night without homework, and won't have to blame the dog for eating it the next day at school. Since 2003, the Verona Municipal Alliance Committee has been sponsoring twice-annual Family Nights as "a simple reminder of the importance of family time."
