Verona High School Holds Instant College Decision Day

Representatives from three local colleges will conduct interviews and accept seniors on the spot.

Verona High School seniors will have the unique opportunity to interview for college and be able to get an answer right on the spot, Wednesday, April 3 as VHS holds Instant College Decision Day. Instant College Decision Day will be hosted by representatives from Bergen Community College, Essex County College and the County College of Morris. Guidance counselor Colleen Green has been helping students put together their application and prepare for interviews with the three local colleges. “Usually student are accepted because the colleges give requirements ahead of time,” said Verona High School Principal Glenn Cesa. “Some positive things are that it's a decision on the spot with no waiting and it provides an opportunity to prepare and …

Deadline is Wednesday for Verona Instant College Decision Day

Deadline for Instant College Decision Day in Verona is Wednesday, March 20.

Verona High School Seniors will have the unique opportunity to interview for college and be able to get an answer right on the spot, but only if they make the Wednesday deadline. Students must visit Guidance Counselor Colleen Green by Wednesday, March 20 to express interest in the program, said Verona High School Principal Glenn Cesa. “Mrs. Green will help the students review the requirements, help them prepare and make an application for Instant College Decision Day,” said Cesa. Essex County College Announce Dean's List Recipients

Students must achieve a 3.5 or higher grade-point average to be included on the list.
