The Caldwell Environmental Commission and the Caldwell College Sustainability Committee, along with EcoMatters and Advanced Performance Solar, will offer a Solar Screening Event. The free event will take place at Werner Hall on the Caldwell College campus on Monday, Oct. 15, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Homeowners will learn about the benefits of solar energy and have the chance to be screened for a zero-cost solar installation that would provide them with discounted electricity. “We’re excited to host this event with Caldwell College and invite all members of the community to join us to see if their roof is suitable for solar,” Ann Marchioni, chairperson of Caldwell Environmental Commission, said in a press release.
