Verona Salon owner Anthony Lombardi, a star of the Style Network's hit show "Jerseylicious" unveiled his new book.
"Jerseylicious" star and Verona salon owner Anthony Lombardi has just revealed his latest venture, a picture book depicting the history of style in New Jersey. According to myveronanj.com, "The Glamour State: 225 Years of Stylish Innovation", was written to celebrate New Jersey's 225th birthday, but is not a history book, Lombardi assures his readers. "Jerseylicious" stars and stylists Olivia Blois Sharpe and Tracy DiMarco simply couldn't keep their harsh words to themselves during a grand opening for the Anthony Robert Salon, as seen on Sunday night's episode of The Style Network reality show. According to The Style Network's blog, Anthony Lombardi, the Anthony Robert Salon owner, was "stepping out of the Gatsby's shadow" by expanding his own salon at its Verona location. The Gatsby, a competing salon with Lombardi and shares several employees, including DiMarco and Blois Sharpe, a Montville Township High School graduate, is located in Green Brook. Things are still relatively quiet at 279 Bloomfield Ave., the new home of Jerseylicious reality star Anthony Lombardi’s salon, but that’s just because they’re settling in. This week is the salon’s soft opening, but Lombardi is planning a grand opening for next month. The sleek new space was a big undertaking for Lombardi, who has just about quadrupled his size from the tiny, four-chair salon he first opened in Verona six years ago. And, as with all construction projects, this one wasn’t quite completed by the time Lombardi had hoped. He planned on opening in April.
