North End and South End parents teamed up to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
On Saturday, March 2, North End and South End parents of Cedar Grove teamed up for the Legopalooza FundRaiser for American Cancer Society, hosted at Snapology of Northern New Jersey in Little Falls. Melissa and Paul Skabich of Cedar Grove organized the event and partnered with Donna Meccia, also of Cedar Grove, who opened Snapology of Northern New Jersey in November 2012. The event featured building contests for different age groups with prizes, crafts, snacks and drinks and a candy buffet. Proceeds went to the American Cancer Society, an organization that really hits home for the Skabich family since Paul's mother recently passed away from cancer.
