Verona Schools Preparing Five Year Strategic Plan
Members of the Strategic Plan Steering Committee are seeking Verona residents as members for their Strategy Action Teams.
The Verona Board of Education is working on a new five-year strategic plan, to take effect beginning September of 2013. Elizabeth Jewett, Director of Instruction Studies, updated the Verona Board of Education on the developments of the strategic plan, which aims to “ensure our collective focus and resources remain centered upon student achievement.” Jewett is working with a steering committee comprised of 25 members of the Verona community as well as Consultant Judy Ferguson to develop the mission, goals, strategies, core values and commitments of the Verona School District.
