Watercolor Exhibit by Verona Artist at Cedar Grove Library

"Taylor Made" is the theme of a solo exhibition of paintings by Verona artist Allen Taylor.

“Taylor Made”, an exhibit of New Jersey and East Coast watercolor scenes by Verona resident Allen Taylor, is on display through the end of December at the Cedar Grove Library Gallery, 1 Municipal Plaza.

The longtime area resident has won more than 25 awards in local and statewide competitions.

Taylor’s paintings have been shown widely in Northern New Jersey. He is an Elected Member of the Garden State and New Jersey Watercolor Societies and the Essex Water Color Club, serving on the boards of both of the latter two.

Allen is inspired by his surroundings and travels. His most recent works include paintings of Italy, France, the Canadian Maritimes, Cape Cod and Rockport, Mass., as well as his hometown.

He is a contributor to the annual offering of Verona Park note cards, which support the work of the Verona Park Conservancy.
