Verona Band Director Featured on Sirius XM
Erik Lynch performs on "Sounds From the Spires," mentions VHS music program.
Erik Lynch, Director of Bands at Verona High School, is featured in the opening segment of "Sounds From the Spires", a program on Sirius XM radio Channel 129, Verona Schools announced this week.
The show featuring Lynch originally aired on Sunday, Oct. 17, at 5 p.m., and will be heard again on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 1 a.m. and 11 p.m., as well as on Sunday, Oct. 27, at 6 a.m.
Lynch performs as timpanist on a recording of Aaron Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man" with organist Vincent Carr, who is interviewed for the hour-long program.
Word has it that VHS's music department will be mentioned.
