Veterans Day Observance, Diabetes Wellness Expo
What's happening in Verona and Cedar Grove and what stories Patch plans to cover.
Township offices in Verona and Cedar Grove will be closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day.
The Mayor and Council of the Township of Verona will recognize Veterans Day on Monday, at 11 a.m., with a ceremony on the steps of Town Hall, 600 Bloomfield Ave.
The Cedar Grove Board of Education will meet Tuesday, at 8 p.m., in the North End School Media Center.
There will be a Diabetes Wellness Expo at the Verona Community Center, 880 Bloomfield Ave., on Thursday, from 9 to 11:30 a.m., featuring information and screenings to manage and prevent diabetes. Low-glycemic snacks will be available from Shop-Rite.
