Rabies Clinic, Shred It Event, Music Matters Car Wash

What's happening in Verona-Cedar Grove this week and what stories Patch plans to cover.

Attention pet owners: There will be a rabies clinic at the Cedar Grove Municipal Building on Monday. Dogs are scheduled for 6 p.m. and cats from 6:45 to 7 p.m.

The Verona Town Council will meet Monday at 7 p.m.

Have a bunch of documents that need shredding? Temple Shalom of West Essex in Verona will hold its monthly SHRED IT event Wednesday, starting at 9 a.m.

The next Verona V!BE Dinner & A Movie, for active adults 50 and over, will take place Thursday, at 6:30 p.m., at the Verona Community Center. The movie Parental Guidance, starring Billy Crystal and Bette Midler, will be shown.

Cedar Grove High School's Music Matters will hold a car wash fundraiser on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Leonard Parks School parking lot.

The jazz quintet "Outerplay" with Matt Tischio of Verona will perform Saturday, from 6 to 7 p.m., at the Verona Community Center. The jazz night is sponsored by the Mayor's Charity Fund.
