Local Teams Advance in Football Tournament, Fall Rummage Sale Continues This Week
Verona and Cedar Grove councils convene, Essex County Death Cafe meets in Montclair.
The annual Fall Rummage Sale at Temple Sholom of West Essex in Cedar Grove continues on Monday, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 3 to 6 p.m.
The Verona and Cedar Grove councils will meet Monday at 7 p.m.
The Essex County Death Cafe will hold its November meeting on Monday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 93 Valley Road. This month's topic: What will your obituary say?
Verona V!BE — a social group for area residents 50 and over — will get together for a screening of the movie "The Big Wedding" Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Verona Community Center.
Verona and Cedar Grove football teams both advanced to the second round of the 2013 NJSIAA North 1, Group 1 State Tournament. Verona will play at Pompton Lakes in the semi-final on Friday. Cedar Grove travels to Hasbrouck Heights Friday.
