A member of the Hilltop Conservancy Group recently shared two photos of the same spot of the "Meadow" at the Hilltop Reservation which will blow you away.
The first shot taken in 1994 shows a pile of rubble and a dilapidated building belonging to the former Essex Mountain Sanatorium.
Through the efforts of the conservancy, the Meadow has been restored to its natural beauty as evidenced in the recent photograph.
The same pine tree stands in both pictures taken from a similar vantage point.
