The Verona Vipers (Girls U11) Soccer Team defeated Saddle Brook Smith at an away game on Sunday, Oct. 20. The score was 1-0 Verona, with the winning goal by Cayla Okafor of Verona.
On Oct. 27, the Verona Vipers played the number one team in the league, Allendale Americans, and tied 0-0.
The team is currently ranked fifth in the league. Verona plays Leonia Sunday at 1 p.m. at Leonia Middle School.
