Former NFL Star, Officials Play Bocce for Charity

Participants played for Rebuilding Together, an organization that preserves affordable housing and provides repairs for veterans of the armed forces.

New Jersey native and former Kansas Chiefs tight end Anthony Fasano and government leaders from the state paired up to kick off the sixth annual Fasano Bocce Tournament presented by the Anthony Fasano Foundation.

Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo, U.S. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen and Verona Mayor Bob Manley lined up for the first roll of the bocce tournament Saturday.

Competitors played for Rebuilding Together, a nonprofit dedicated to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize communities by providing repairs and more for veterans.

The Anthony Fasano Foundation is an organization that aims to help families with a wide range of issues from children with autism, veterans issues, poverty and hunger.
