Verona School Hosts Social Media Discussion

Parents are invited to discuss how Social Media issues, such as cyberbullying, can affect their children.

Verona parents will be taking an in-depth look at their children's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram on Tuesday, as the Verona School District hosts a Social Media discussion at H.B. Whitehorne Middle School.

The discussion begins at 7 p.m. on Tuesday Oct. 23 in the H.B. Whitehorne Auditorium, located at 600 Bloomfield Ave. in Verona

“Some Middle School students aren't quite mature enough to deal with some of the ramifications from social media,” said Verona Superintendent Steven Forte. “There are issues with cyber bullying and the dangers associated with having your personal information on the web.”
