Verona High School graduate Dan DePalma has signed with the NFL’s San Diego Chargers, according to published report.
The 23-year-old 5-foot, 11-inch wide receiver, has previously seen practice squad and pre-season action with both the Jets and Giants, signed a two-year deal with the team, according to a NorthJersey.com report.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
DePalma, a 2007 graduate who attended West Chester University in Pennsylvania, will compete for a spot on the 53-man roster for playing time, the report said.
He joins fellow Hillbilly Anthony Fasano, who recently signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as a free agent after playing tight end with the Miami Dolphins, in the AFC West division.
