'It's the Hard Knock Life' at Cedar Grove Middle School

Memorial Middle School students put on a production of Annie earlier this month like there was no "Tomorrow." 

Students in grades fifth through eight starred in the show about the little orphaned red head girl, her dog Sandy and their pursuit for a home and family. 

The musical was directed by Angelo DeFazio and Megan Siegel with help of student director, Cedar Grove High School senior Rebecca Altschul.

Lead roles were played by Annie (Julia Steckel), Oliver Warbucks (Nick Splendoria), Ms. Farrell (Grace San Roman), Rooster (Gavin O'Connor) Miss Hannigan (Anjali Natvar) and Lily St. Regis (Abby Buckworth).

The orphans were portrayed by Danielle Adubato, Mikayla Hom, Jessica Fearon, Emily Heim, Francesca Catalano, Elizabeth Niemiec, Julia Jablonski, Ava Silverman, Emma Hinz and Morgan Tencza.
