Exxon Mobil Grants to Fund New Science Elective in Verona

Human Anatomy and Physiology will be offered starting 2014-15.

Verona High School was recently awarded two grants from Exxon Mobil which will help support a new science elective at the school. 

Human Anatomy and Physiology will be offered beginning with the 2014-15 thanks to the $1,000 worth of grants from the energy corporation's 2013 Educational Alliance.

The Verona school district thanked in a release local Exxon Mobil stations, 101 Bloomfield Ave. in Verona, and 379 Pompton Ave. in Cedar Grove, for making the funding possible.

Exxon Mobil has long supported educational programs from pre-school through high school, as a way of encouraging students to pursue careers in math and science.
