Cedar Grove Names New Principal for Middle School

The Cedar Grove Board of Education has appointed Mary Ehid as principal of Memorial Middle School. 

Ehid comes to Cedar Grove from the Bernards Township School District, where she served as assistant principal at William Annin Middle School in Basking Ridge, Cedar Grove Superintendent of Schools Michael Fetherman said. 

The incoming principal has worked at William Annin for the past 16 years.  

Prior to her work in education, she was employed by AT&T as a corporate trainer.  

"Her background in both team-building and education make Mary Ehid the perfect fit for the position of instructional leader at MMS," Fetherman said.

A panel of parents, teachers and administrators helped select the new principal after a lengthy screening process which began in August, he said.
