Cedar Grove Musicians Team Up With Vermont High School For Concert

Students from Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington, Vt. will perform alongside Cedar Grove High School musicians for a special concert on Saturday, April 6.

Cedar Grove High School music students will be partnering with a high school in Vermont for special performances in Vermont as well as Cedar Grove High School.

Cedar Grove students traveled to Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington, Vt. on Tuesday, April 2 to perform alongside students there in a benefit concert.

Both schools will travel to Cedar Grove on Friday, April 5 for a special performance of “Les Miserables” at Cedar Grove High School to be held the following night.

“'Les Miserables' will provide the students with opportunities for a wide range of voices,” said Cedar Grove Music Director Jennifer Jessen-Foose. “A curriculum guide explaining the story behind the musical will accompany the student’s learning and reading.”

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 6 in the Cedar Grove High School Auditorium, located at 90 Rugby Road.

Tickets can be purchased for $10 at the box office prior to the performance or on the district website.
