The website Rich Blocks, Poor Blocks has broken down the rental costs in town and mapped them out using data from the American Community Survey, which is part of the most recent Census.

The website shows the median monthly rent throughout the two towns and for renter residents is on the higher edge of the range paid by most throughout the state. Rent rates do not vary much in either Cedar Grove or Verona.

According to the website, the monthly middle-rental range in New Jersey is estimated between $928 and $1,368.

In Verona rent starts at $1,121 and is estimated at $1,310 on the high side. For Cedar Grove, rent starts at $1,345 and goes as high as an estimated $1,380.
