Stay in Cedar Grove Home for $15K During Super Bowl
Area residents hope to make a quick buck by renting their homes close to MetLife Stadium.
Thousands of opportunists from New Jersey and New York who live in proximity to MetLife Stadium are looking to make a buck by renting their homes during Super Bowl week.
A Cedar Grove home, for example, is listed on Super-Bowl-Rentalz.com for $3,750 per night up to four nights.
For $15K, Super Bowl ticket holders can stay in the four bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house in a gated residential neighborhood just eight miles from the Meadowlands.
The 15-year-old house sleeps eight people with room for more, the listing says.
Amenities include a modern kitchen open to a family room with a 40″ LED TV and gas fireplace, a finished basement with 50″ plasma and a master bath with jacuzzi.
More than 1,400 rentals remain listed on www.eventhomes.com just weeks before the big game, ranging from a 2-bedroom apartment just minutes from the stadium for $1,100 a day to a 6-bedroom Montclair estate for $12,500 a day.
Those who already have their accommodations set for Super Bowl XLVIII, can look ahead to the 2015 NFL championship to be played in Arizona; Some 19 listings were posted as of Wednesday night.
