The Week Ahead in Verona and Cedar Grove

Verona Board of Education to hold public goal-setting forum.

The week ahead in Verona and Cedar Grove is light on meetings, which will give residents sometime to enjoy the weather. 

The week kicks off with the Cedar Grove Township Council meeting tonight at 7 p.m. in council chambers. See attached PDF for agenda. 

The Verona Board of Education is also holding a goal-setting public forum on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in the Verona High School.

CG Library hosts a Knitting Club. All are welcome.

Tuesday 9:30 a.m.
Time for Tots is an informal group of Moms and Dads who get together while our children play. Time for Tots allows your children to get out of the house and play with other children, while giving you some much needed "adult time." No sign-up or money involved.

Tuesday 7 p.m.
Based on a cabaret written in the Terezin Ghetto in 1944 by Karl Svenk. The Last Cyclist, written and rehearsed in the Terezín Ghetto in 1943, but banned before its first performance. The Last Cyclist is a daring, gallows-humor, avant-garde comedy.

Wednesday 10 a.m.
Join a lively group of walkers on THURSDAYS from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. in the VCC gym for exercise and walking. New members welcome.

Neighbors-helping-Neighbors (NhN), is a free highly successful and recognized grassroots organization offering local library based weekly meetings that are Peer-led by volunteers to provide support and networking for people actively seeking employment.


Verona Park Boat House, Verona 
Thursday 7:30 p.m. 
The Verona Park Conservancy is a public, non-profit organization that is dedicated to working with the Essex County Parks Department and the public to maintain, beautify and improve Verona Park's appearance and facilities for the enjoyment of present and future generations. Verona Park Conservancy Monthly Meetings are held the 3rd Thursday each month from 7:30-8:30 p.m. in the Verona Park Boathouse. All are welcome.

Verona Yoga and Wellness Center,  546 Bloomfield Ave, Verona
Thursday 7:30pm – 8:30pm
Classical technique mixed with a lot of fun!   A great workout for your arms, abs and legs while you learn this classic style of Egyptial Belly Dance.  Beginners welcome!  Hip Scarves available for purchase at the studio

The meetings are held in the meeting room downstairs. Guests are always welcome, and we hope to see you these!
