Columbus Day, Board of Eds Meet in Week Ahead

After the federal and state holidays on Monday, both boards meet Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Township business will take the day off Monday to reflect on the founding of our country. Because it is a state and federal holiday, municipal offices in both Verona and Cedar Grove will be closed today for Columbus Day.

Each town gets right back into action on Tuesday with the Verona and Cedar Grove Boards of Education meetings, both held at 8 p.m. A Cedar Grove agendas is attached. A Verona agenda is not yet available.

The Verona Board of Education meets at Verona High School located at 151 Fairview Ave. in Verona.

The Cedar Grove Board of Education meets at North End School at 122 Stevens Ave. in Cedar Grove.

The Cedar Grove Zoning Board will also be meeting on Tuesday at 8 p.m. An agenda for the meeting was not available.

On Thursday, the Verona Board of Adjustment will hold a regularly scheduled meeting beginning at 8 p.m. An agenda is attached.

Music Together® Guitar Class for Grownups is open to parents and caregivers of children registered in the current semester. The 60 minute guitar classes meet once a week for 8 weeks. Fall Outdoor Boot Camp Program
