Verona Man Gets 10 Years for Instructing Girl to Perform Sex Acts on Video

Paul R. Kleinman, 34, also ordered to have seven years of supervised release.

A Verona man was sentenced on Wednesday to 10 years in prison for persuading a girl to perform sexual acts while he watched through video chat programs.

Paul R. Kleinman, 34, who also has a Jersey City address, previously pleaded guilty to enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity. U.S. District Judge Faith S. Hochberg imposed the 10-year sentence and ordered Kleinman to seven years of supervised release.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Kleinman communicated with a female juvenile through Skype and FaceTime applications on his tablet and computer for about a month between September and October 2012.

Kleinman instructed the girl to perform sexual acts on herself as he watched, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
