Roadwork Begins Friday on Park Place in Verona

Roadwork is scheduled to begin on Park Place in Verona on Friday, police said.

The road that leads to H.B. Whitehorne Middle School and a municipal parking lot off Bloomfield Avenue will undergo repairs and resurfacing. The project should last two weeks, police said.

The road will remain open during construction with the exception of the last few days when asphalt milling and paving take place.

To alleviate traffic, police are asking drivers to enter the lots through Park Place and exit through Municipal Lot 1 at the Chase Bank exit driveway.

While Park Place is closed during milling and paving, the Chase Bank driveway will be set up to allow for two-way traffic.
