Letter: Cedar Grove Police Thanks Community For Generosity During Holiday Drive

Two dozen care packages sent to United States Marines stationed overseas.

The following letter was submitted by Cedar Grove Police Chief Richard Vanderstreet.

The Cedar Grove Police Department would like to thank the public for their generosity during our recent Holiday Care Package Collection for United States Military Personnel serving overseas.

Thanks to your generosity, the 2013 Holiday Drive was a great success and we were able to send care packages to 24 United States Marines currently serving aboard the U.S.S. Boxer in the Arabian Sea.

Your help in providing our service men and women with a taste of home during the holidays was greatly appreciated.

Richard Vanderstreet, Cedar Grove Police Chief
