Drunk Man Gets Ticket
19-year-old North Caldwell man, Verona Inn issued summonses after night of underage drinking leads to argument.
A 19-year-old North Caldwell man, who was apparently drunk and began an argument with a group of women in a parking lot across the street from the Verona Inn on Bloomfield Avenue, was issued a summons for public intoxication by Verona police.
Peter Lawless, who was seen arguing with the women around 1:20 a.m. on July 20, admitted to Verona police he was drinking at the Verona Inn.
Police also cited the Verona Inn, 642 Bloomfield Ave., which opened several months ago, for serving someone underage.
