Cedar Grove Police are searching for driver who left scene of accident Saturday morning.

Cedar Grove Police are looking for a driver who took off after slamming into a flashing school speed-limit sign early Saturday morning.

An area resident reported just before 2 a.m. hearing a loud noise and seeing a pick-up truck drive over a neighbor's lawn, police said.

Officers responded to East Bradford Avenue at Yorkshire Drive to find the badly damaged sign. The driver appears to have been coming from Yorkshire and trying to turn left onto East Bradford, police said.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Cedar Grove Police at 973-239-4100.
