16-Year-Old Missing Girl Returns Home, Nutley Police Chief Says

Christina Simeonidis had been missing since Wednesday.

A 16-year-old missing Nutley girl has returned home, Police Chief Thomas Strumolo said Saturday afternoon.

New Jersey State police on Friday issued an alert stating Christina Simeonidis, 16, had been missing since Wednesday. Simeonidis, whose sister graduated Verona High, was last seen in Nutley.

Simeonidis was described as 5-foot-4, 150 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and olive skin. She has a tattoo on her left wrist reading “Heaven.” Authorities believed she may have been with her 26-year-old boyfriend.
