Verona Juniors thank Community for Bunny Brunch Support

The Verona Juniors hosted a successful Bunny Brunch this past Saturday, April 5th.  Coordinator, Claudia O’Brien reported that the Brunch attracted over 350 parents and children from the Verona and Cedar Grove area. For a $5 admission fee, children enjoyed donuts, bagels and other treats, received a goody bag, worked on crafts provided by the Juniorettes, and were able to take their picture with the Easter Bunny.

The Juniors would like to thank the community for their support. Also, we would like to thank the custodial staff at Verona High School who is always such a pleasure to work with and the following local businesses who kindly donated items to make this event possible: Jonathan Balloons, Bagelwich, Hot Bagel’s & More Cedar Grove, Caldwell and West Orange Dunkin Donuts, Town Scoope, Foodtown Cedar Grove, Whole Foods Montclair, Starbucks Montclair and Decals Designs Plus in West Caldwell.

The proceeds from this event support the “Adopt A Family” program in Verona. This program services Verona families in need. The Adopt a Family program aids those recovering from economic hardship due to death, divorce, illness or unemployment. Clients are able to receive counseling and referrals to other related agencies. In addition, the program aims to provide children with a safe and positive environment during a difficult time.
