Deer Hunt

Deer Hunts are not the answer, the displacement of deer is our fault.
All the greedy real estate companies destroying acreage after acreage of wooded area.  Pushing wildlife closer and closer to residential areas, this is the problem
The other problem is the speed of the cars in deer areas.  People ignore the signs and speed, I see it first hand especially on Fairview Avenue and Pompton Avenue.  Deer have peripheral vision can not see straight ahead and this causes them to get hit by vehicles.
Why can't we fence in those areas and have Streeter lights placed on the curbs, they deter deer.
As for deer culls, nature takes over and you can not beat nature.  Once you kill the deer and their fetuses, the next spring the surviving females will have multiple births instead of just one.  Nature takes over and increases the herd.  There must be other options to come to a humane resolution for these displaced animals.  Deer will always be around and we need to learn how to live with them, not them with us.
