Donations Sought for Verona Public Library Book Sale

Volunteers also needed to help sort through books.

The Friends of the Verona Public Library will once again hold their annual book sale on Dec. 5 to Dec. 9. — and they could use some helping hands.

In order to make the book sale a success, donations of gently used books and DVDs are needed from the community. Donated items should be brought to the library by Friday, Nov. 8.

Volunteers are also needed to help sort through the books and have the sale go smoothly.

Helpers will gather in the Jack Foley Room at the library at 17 Gould St. on Sunday, Nov. 10, from 2 to 5 p.m., to begin sorting through the hundreds of books. Stop by for an hour or two to help with the effort.

Extra hands are also needed for sale days. If you would like to volunteer, call the library at 973-857-4848 or email friendsveronalibrary@gmail.com.
