Not to be missed (and you may have
to wait in line) is to get your Mad Hatters balloon sculpture sponsored by
Canterbury at Cedar Grove. “When we saw the balloon sculptures Mad Hatters
creates, we knew Canterbury would participate and wanted to bring these
exciting sculptures to the Fair. We are sure the big, bright, colorful and
creative designs will be a huge hit with people of all ages”, says  Mary A. Savoia, Canterbury Admissions

Director. The Mad Hatters will be at the Canterbury’s table from 1-4 pm.

The Township welcomes Wells Fargo
and Eight Hills Caterers as the Horse Drawn Wagon Ride co-sponsors. Riders can
board the wagon behind Town Hall and be treated to a free ride along Gould
Street starting at 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. There will be limited vehicular access
to Gould Street during the festivities.

“Wells Fargo is excited to participate in the Verona Fair in the Square

and we look forward to co-sponsoring the ride which so many people enjoy.

This is a wonderful community event and our team will be on hand at our

table to talk to parents about teen financial education,” noted Lissette

Morales Verona Store Manager/ Vice President, Wells Fargo.

As a founder of Fair in the Square,
Jimmy Hill of Eight Hills Caterers remains an enthusiastic supporter of the
Fair and will continue to serve the fair goers from the Fair’s food court.  “The Fair creates an opportunity for the
community to come together to enjoy good food, entertainment, family fun activities
and start their holiday shopping conveniently and close to home,” he said.

Food and beverages will by sold by
some of Verona’s favorite established restaurants in the food court - Jack’s
Café and Eight Hills Deli. New in the food court will be Mr. Bruno’s and Café
Alba giving the Fair goers a taste of their new menus in Verona.

Fair goers will be entertained by
Polka Dot, who will sing dance and get the young at heart moving and shaking.
Strolling stilts walkers, fire eating characters and puppeteers will interact
and amuse attendees. Bring your camera to take your family photo with Santa
from 2-3:30 pm. With fanfare, the Verona’s Fire Department will bring Santa to
the Fair to light the tree starting at 4:30 pm.

The 17th annual Fair in
the Square is a tradition in Verona, and coordinators encourage participation
from vendors and organizations to create crafts, play games, and sell holiday
gift items. Participation and activities are still lining up, and many favorite
vendors and organizations are returning with new surprises.
