Pushcart Players presents A SEASON of MIRACLES

Pushcart Players, New Jersey’s renowned touring theatre for
young audiences presents “A Season of Miracles” now through December 31,
2013.  The production will delight
audiences in the tri-State area with performances in schools and theatres
throughout New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and beyond. From Freehold to Great
Neck, from Montville to Bayside, from New Hyde Park to Towson, MD, Pushcart
spreads holiday cheer. “A Season of Miracles” is a multi-cultural collection
of holiday tales that celebrate Christmas, Kwanza and Chanuka. Stories within
this delightful musical include O. Henry’s The Gift of the Magi, E.T.A.
Hoffmann’s The Nutcracker, an original scene in Nigeria entitled The
Kwanzaa Kite
and The Chanuka Miracle. Crafted and set to music with
the timeless tone of each classic piece, this magical presentation warms the
hearts – and perhaps changes the perspectives – of family audiences as they reflect
on the true meaning and spirit of the holidays. “As for miracles?” noted Ruth Fost, Pushcart co-founder and
playwright for the production, “They are within us all and at the heart of each
story.  They are the gifts of love,
kindness, caring and sharing.” Pushcart Players is in its 40th anniversary
season of presenting productions filled with fun, facts, magic and wonder. The
company has traveled over 2 million miles to serve more than 8 million children
and their families nationally and abroad. All performances come with innovative
scenery, complete lighting and state of the art sound systems, making it
adaptable to any location. For further information on this or any of Pushcart’s
