Celebrating Women! A Dynamic Presentation on Women's History

Award-winning author Penny Colman is coming to the Verona
Public Library to give her acclaimed talk “Celebrating Women!” on Tuesday, May
6th at 7:30 pm.  This dynamic program of
unique photographs and a lively commentary is based on Ms. Colman’s many road trips
in search of historic women’s landmarks.
Over the years she has traveled from Maine to California, Michigan to
Texas photographing a diversity of landmarks – from plaques to parks, memorials
to museums, buildings to benches, signs to statues, graves to gardens – that
celebrate women’s indispensable and inspiring contributions to every aspect of
American life.
