BHS Indoor Band Competition

The
Bloomfield High School Bengal Drum Line and Color Guard are pleased to announce
that they will host Bloomfield’s second-annual indoor invitational band
competition, on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014. This festival marks the beginning of
the indoor competition season, during which these two groups will be competing almost every weekend, from now through April.

The
Bloomfield invitational festival will be held at Bloomfield High School, and

doors open at 3 p.m. The competition begins at 4 p.m. with the color guard

portion (guard awards will be given out at 6:20 p.m.); drum line performances
begin at 7 p.m. (final drum line results will be announced—and trophies given
out—at 9 p.m.). Tickets are available at the door, $10 for adults, $7 for
students and seniors; children under 5 are free.

Refreshments
will be available at the concessions stand for purchase throughout the entire
competition. Also, raffle tickets will be available for a drawing that will
take place at the competition; prizes include first prize of an iPad Mini 16
GB, second prize of an iPod Touch 16GB and third prize of a $50 iTunes gift
card. Tickets can be purchased at the competition or separately (need NOT be present to win). For
information on raffle tickets, please contact Angie Argabrite at aargabrite@aol.com.
