Towns Resume Public Meetings

Following Hurricane Sandy, Verona and Cedar Grove are beginning to get back into their regular schedules.

The Cedar Grove Board of Education will meet on Tuesday Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. at the North End School Media Center, 122 Stevens Ave. An agenda is attached.

The Cedar Grove Zoning Board will also meet on Tuesday Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. at Town Hall, 525 Pompton Ave. No meeting agenda was available.

The Verona Board of Education will hold a regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. at the Verona High School Media Center, 151 Fairview Ave. An agenda is not yet available.

The Verona Municipal Alliance Committee will be meeting on Thursday Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Verona Community Center, 800 Bloomfield Ave. No agenda is available.

The 15 Minute Child Break is a one-hour multi-media presentation offered by the Partnership for a Drug-Free NJ. It will include information on the importance of the parent or caregiver’s role on substance abuse prevention; as well as how to talk to children about drugs, signs of use and abuse to look for, current terminology, and trends of use.
