Verona Board of Ed, Halloween Parades in the Week Ahead

School meeting planned for Tuesday at 8 p.m. at high school media center.

The Verona Board of Education will meet for a regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. at the Verona High School media center. An agenda is not yet available.

Cedar Grove schools will have Halloween costume parades on Wednesday, Oct. 31. South End School will begin at 12:15 p.m. and North End School will follow at 1:15 p.m.

Verona Schools costume parades will be held at 8:40 a.m. at Laning Ave., 8:45 a.m. at Forest Ave. and 9 a.m. at F.N. Brown Schools.

Verona Recreation Pumpkin Carving Contest
Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 3:30 p.m.

880 Bloomfield Ave., Verona

For children in grades 5-8.  The competition is limited to 32 contestants. Pre-registration required at veronanj.org. Prizes will be given to the winner for each category. The categories include: Scariest, Funniest & Most Original Pumpkins. Safe Carving Tools will be provided.
