Verona Library Reschedules Book Sale

Book sale will be held from Saturday Dec. 1 to Tuesday Dec. 4 at the Verona Public Library.

The Friends of the Verona Public Library, a fundraising support group, has rescheduled its book sale after Hurricane Sandy shut down most of the town in late October.

The group has been collecting book donations from Verona residents to sell at its annual book sale to raise money for the library.

“Its a major fundraising effort of the Friends of the Library and they are using the funds to donate materials,” said Library Director Mary Torry. “Its a chance to get stocking stuffers and holiday gifts and to show your support for the library.”
