The Friends of the Verona Public Library, a fundraising support group, has rescheduled its book sale after Hurricane Sandy shut down most of the town in late October.
The group has been collecting book donations from Verona residents to sell at its annual book sale to raise money for the library.
“Its a major fundraising effort of the Friends of the Library and they are using the funds to donate materials,” said Library Director Mary Torry. “Its a chance to get stocking stuffers and holiday gifts and to show your support for the library.”
Books for all ages will go on sale from Saturday Dec. 1 to Tuesday Nov 4.
A special preview will be held on Nov. 30 for all Friends of the Library members.
The sale will be held:
- Saturday Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. To 4 p.m.
- Sunday Dec. 2 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Monday Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Tuesday Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Verona Public Library is located at 17 Gould Street in Verona.
