It’s Labor Day today, the day marking the traditional end of summer, as children prepare to head back to school and autumn approaches.
Although all municipal offices are closed today for the holiday, the first fall meetings kick off, as Verona Council gets back into the swing of things Tuesday.
The council meets that night for its regularly scheduled meeting at 7 p.m. at town hall, 600 Bloomfield Ave. A meeting agenda is attached to this story.
Verona students will be hitting the books on Thursday, which is the first day of school for all Verona students.
Friday is the last day to register for Verona Fall Recreation Programs. Click here for more information.
