UNICO Holds Turkey Drive on Tuesday

Cedar Grove UNICO will be collecting turkeys and non-perishable food for needy families throughout the county.

Cedar Grove UNICO will hold another turkey drive on Tuesday Nov. 20 for needy families throughout Essex County.

UNICO will be collecting turkeys and non-perishable food items at St. Catherine of Siena School during regular school hours.

“In these tough times, Cedar Grove UNICO strives to continuously give back to the community through its many charitable events,” the organization said.

Items will be donated to needy families in Essex County, especially those affected by Hurricane Sandy, they said.

UNICO recently donated $1,000 to the Human Needs Food Pantry in Montclair.
