Photos: Verona Kicks off the Holiday Season With Annual Fair in the Square

Verona Fair in the Square was held on Saturday, Dec. 1 on the grounds of the Verona Civic Center.

Saturday marked the 16th annual Verona Fair in the Square with holiday shopping, ice sculpture demonstrations, children's workshops, a moon-bounce, pictures with Santa and the Verona tree-lighting ceremony.

“Fair in the Square has become Verona’s tradition, drawing people from all over town and surrounding communities,” said Mayor Frank Sapienza. “The fair is great because it is so community and family oriented, with plenty of activities, entertainment, and food; and will have children and adults enjoying a great day outdoors meeting their neighbors.”

Great photos that really encapsulate the event! 2012 was the 16th annual F.I.T.S, and I have been at half of them - this year was truly the best yet. The attractions, food, all the vendors with a variety of wares ... and, the KIDS! Just fun stuff.
