Zoning Boards To Discuss Expansion, Redevelopment

This week is packed full of meetings beginning with three Tuesday night events.

The Cedar Grove Board of Education will meet for a regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. in the North End Media Center. An agenda is not available at this time.

The Verona Board of Education will also meet on Tuesay, Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. at Verona High School. An agenda is not available at this time.

The Cedar Grove Zoning Board of Adjustment meets on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. in the Cedar Grove Town Hall Municipal Chambers to discuss the expansion of St. Mark's Coptic Church which has caused an outcry from residents. An agenda is attached.

Another controversial meeting will be held on Thursday, Dec. 13 when the Verona Board of Adjustment continues its hearing on a three-story split retail and residential building on Bloomfield Avenue. The proposal has caused residents to band together to oppose the development. An agenda is not yet available.
